Rasoi Reviews
First time here and bought Alloo Gobi and Karahi chicken take away, both were excellent. Very fresh. I didn’t experience that fresh food in whole Toronto area. Excellent food. Will visit again if I ever been in that area again.
A perfect place to enjoy Indian cuisine in the city of Montreal. The quality of food is exceptional, the staff goes the extra mile to fulfill customers requests. For instance, one of my family members needed a bun with the egg bhurji (like “anda bhurji paav” in India). The staff made that available even it wasn’t listed in Menu, at no extra cost. Parking could be little challenging as need to find a space on the street. Otherwise, experience was really good.
The decor has a lot of personality & looks very nice, the service was fast & super friendly, and to top it all the food was absolutely delicious! My recommendations : the Mango Sour cocktail, the Korma Veggies (seriously one of the best I’ve ever had) & the Butter Chicken of course ! I personally don’t like it when it’s too spicy and this was leaning more towards salty&sweet with just the right amount of spices. We shared 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes with 1 naan bread and 1 rice, as well as 2 cocktails, for a total of 105 taxes & tips included. There’s also a speakeasy downstairs and I had a delicious Expresso Martini from the friendly bartender Harry. I recommend this place 100% !
Great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the food. Great curries and onion bhaji
Had an amazing experience here. Best Indian food in town. The guy (Hardik) was really helpful.
Great spot for Indian cuisine! I ordered the butter chicken which was good, and a lamb madras curry that I think was even better. My favorite was the vegetarian samosas, they were huge and so flavorful, the sauce they serve it with is really good too. We also got naan, which is as good as any. Just remember when looking at prices that the rice is ordered separate.
Underrated. Went for breakfast. No one there. Got an omelette and a Thali. Fine flavors, fresh fluffy naan, meats and veggies not drenched in over-powering curry. Not a bit of digestive discomfort unlike so many indian restaurants I've been too. Highly recommend.
Delicious food and lots of seating space! We got the onion bhaji, chili paneer, chicken vindaloo, baigan bartha, lamb korma, naan, and biryani. Our favourites were the chili paneer, onion bhaji, and lamb korma. Everything was delicious!!!!! Would recommend for any group setting. Prices are average, and portions are approriate-not large, but good for one person.
